Robert Hall, principal of HRH Consulting, Inc. is retired from the IBM Corporation. His 30-year career included sales, marketing, organizational planning and development, and general management. In 1999 he began his consulting and recruiting career. Robert has recruited for clients in many industries. He now specializes in recruiting not-for-profit executives, managers, and development professionals.
A graduate of Georgia Tech, Robert received his MBA from Tulane University. He has completed numerous sales executive and management development programs including IBM's Advanced Management Training Program conducted by Harvard's Graduate School of Business. Robert has gained extensive experience in developing effective relationships, identifying client requirements and developing solutions that satisfy tactical and strategic needs. He has developed an extensive network of business and community contacts that he brings to senior level search engagements. Robert consults with companies on effective leadership, strategy development, critical initiative identification, organizational planning, team building, business development and not-for-profit fundraising.
A member of the Rotary Club of Dunwoody and Honorary member of the Rotary Club of Atlanta, Robert has more than 30 years of service in Rotary International. He has served as president of the Rotary Club of Dunwoody and at the district level as Governor, Chairman of the Long Range Planning, Finance and Nominating Committees. Also for the district, he was the Major Donor Chair, the Permanent Fund Chair, and the Rotary Foundation Chair. Robert was appointed to the 2004 Rotary International Worldwide Literacy Conference Committee. He now serves as the Rotary International Polio Eradication Gates Foundation Challenge Coordinator for Georgia, Florida, and the Caribbean, and is the Host Committee Chair for the 2017 Rotary International Convention to be held in Atlanta, Georgia. Robert is the recipient of Rotary International’s highest honor, the Service Above Self Award. From the Rotary Foundation he received the Citation for Meritorious Service, and the foundation’s highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award.
In addition to Rotary, Robert served Georgia Tech as president of the National Alumni Association and was a member of the Budget Committee of the Georgia Tech Foundation. He is a past member of the board of directors of the State of Georgia YMCA and the Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy as well as a past member of the advisory committees of Oglethorpe University and MedShare International. Robert currently serves on the Executive Committee of Communities In Schools of Georgia.
Robert and his wife, Charlene, reside in Dunwoody, Georgia. They have three grown children and seven grandchildren.
